Retrospect Monday: Santorini

This small church is the first place I visited in Santorini, it was filled to the brim with artifacts and it was beautiful.

This is the view from the small church.  I don't know if it is the dark blue of the chirch in the forground, or how this picture shows how flat of the island is...but I love this picture.

Retrospect Monday, Stuffed Rabbit

Also in the streets of Bodrum, this stuffed rabbit was hilarious.  With his little top hat, bow tie, and gun...I thought it was hysterical.  Not the best pictures, but they still make me giggle.

Retrospect Monday: Cats

I was walking around a small town named Bodrum and saw this beautiful cat.  I love how you can see this wil dog walking in the back ground and the cat starting to get nervous.

I loved the facial marking on this cat's forhead, he just looks so fierce.

How could this be comfortable?  Some of my favorite pictures on my trips are of stray dogs and cats.

Until next time,

Meg

Butterflies again!!!

This morning I was taking my dog for a walk and I saw a ton of butterflys resting on my house and I could not resist snapping a few pictures.

They were all beautiful earth toned butterflies, so I was really excited see the pictures in sepia tone.

I have never been a girl, who obsessed about butterflies, but I have to admit that these butterflies were pretty cool.

Love Always,

Butterflies

I have been bad about taking pictures, and to make matters worse I am sending my camera away to be cleaned in preparation for my trip to Africa this fall.  But today I saw this beautiful blue butterfly and spent a good half hour wandering around my back yard taking pictures of it.

I put this through the Pioneer Woman seventies effect.

These pictures are not perfect, but I'm glad to be taking some pictures again!!!!

Fireworks!!!

I have a very silly obsession with the fourth of July....I was born in July and I spent my entire childhood  believing that the fourth of July was a celebration for me.  I love barbeque's, I love fireworks, and I love picnics!!!

The last few years I have gone to Oregon Ridge in Hunt Valley for the fourth of July, they have a show where you can listen to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for an hour, and then they have a fireworks show.  My friends and I get there early each year, and have a picnic dinner and chat.

I love the fireworks that look like sparklers, they are load and fun!!!

Red-white-and blue fireworks are fun tooo!!!!  I took all these pictures on my lil point and shoot camera, luckily they came out pretty well.

I love the silhouettes of the people sitting in front of us.  This turned out to be a very haunting picture

Happy Fourth of July!!!!

Meg

Retrospect Monday- Ephesus

The next installment of my Turkey and Greece trip, Ephesus.  I loved Ephesus, everywhere you looked there was something exciting to photography.

I love how earthy these pictures are, everything is just soooo organic.  I'd go back there in a second.

Love Always,

Meg
