Hampden

After a long day, the best medicine is great friends, and not to brag...but I have the best.  My bestie Jess and I had dinner plans for tonight, and we got a surprise addition of our bestie Alaina.  All in all, it was a great night.  Happy moments, I am determined to document our happy moments.

Cafe Hon.  I did not eat there.  I have to start with that.   It's fun to look at, and walk by...some may say they have good pie, but I do not eat there.

But when you see a five foot elvis, it is a crime not to take a picture with it.

Finally we ended the night with a bit of shopping.  I love these beautiful stained glass fish.

Today I am thankful for my wonderful family, supportive friends, and being employed.

Love Always,

Meg

Hampden Observations

There must have been a slight problem with the hydrants in Hampden this evening, because there were hoses and orange fencing everywhere.
I got to Hampden a bit before my friends so I decided to wander around and take some pictures. I love the pastel blue and the fire engine red next to each other.
I love the flamingos in the bath tub, hilarious.

I could not believe what I was seeing.  Mary and Jesus, where the faces are cut out.  Something I never thought I would see, and can not imagine what went into the decision to make it.
But it has character, as does the little pug sitting on the stoop.

Love Always,

Meg

Visiting the Charmery

Tonight the girls and I went to Hampden and get some dinner and ice-cream.  A new place cropped up named the Charmery and it is pretty exciting.
They have the typical flavors such as vanilla and chocolate but they also have....
OLD BAY AND CARMEL ICE-CREAM.  To the non Baltimoreans who read this blog, old bay is a spice that goes on everything.  Crabs, fries, eggs, and now ice-cream.  This was wonderful.
I will have to make this a tradition and go there often.  Yummo.

Love Always,

Meg
