Hilton Head Part Two

The first place we visited on our second day was Lake Somerset.

A few people came out to fish while we walked around, the alligator sign gave me a chuckle.

I love the spanish moss drooping down from these trees.  Gorgeous.

We finally saw a blue heron, it just sat by the bank for a few minutes and then flew away.

The remainder of the day we stayed home and sunned in the back yard.  Every so often an egret would meander past.  It's as if they are just pacing around the lake.  This one flew out the grate.

This poor confused turtle could not decide what to do.  It took him a full five minutes to get on top of this small vent.  Then he would decided that the sun was too hot.  Then ten minutes later he was start the arduous task of trying to get back on the vent.

What a wonderful vacation with my mother.

Hilton Head Visit

It's been a while since I have seen my mother's so I was really excited to spend a three day weekend here.

The first place on our list to visit was the crazy crab.  Yummo.  Every summer I would go here with my Grandma and Grandpa and it was such a treat.

Of course I have to take a picture of the infamous Diver Dan.

The pelicans are magnificent.  We sat on rocking chairs on this rainy day and just watched to birds fly by.  What a great change from the non stop days at work.

Harbor Town!!!!  I happen to love light houses, and this is the first light house that I ever visited.

It's never been used as a light house, it's solely for decorative purposes, but that makes no difference to me.

Love Love Love it.

A final look at the overcast sky before we went home to rest and relax.

Love Always,

Meg

Snow Snow Snow

Making my way to work on a blustery wednesday.  The entire ride to work looked like Narnia.

Every tree was covered with snow or icicles, it was stunning.

Villanova Vs. Southern Florida

Ok, so this might be the last Nova game that I'll be going to this season...maybe one more, but who knows.  I will try to take more pictures this week, and go somewhere new and different.

I have never seen this grotto on campus before, to be honest I don't go around this part of campus often, but it looked sooo serene with the untouched snow.  I really like this picture.

I love St. Thomas Church, we drive by it every time we go to visit, but this time we took the time to take a closer look and take some pictures.

I've always been drawn to religious architecture, it is one of my favorite things to photograph.

We had another great game.  We were ahead the whole game, it wasn't a close game at all, but it was great to see another victory!!!

Meg

Villanova Vs. Providence

So today's Villanova game came down to the wire again, but today we did not walk away with a victory.  A little disappointing, but it was still an exciting game.

I should be going to next week's game as well, hopefully next week we will pull out a win  :  )

Meg
