Mr Winks loves the snow….actually…it's kind of a love/hate relationship

I don't know what everyone else does on a snow day, but I like to grab my camera and take glamour shots of my dog.  This is the result of one afternoon of boredom.

Mr Wink's blue steel impression.   

"Hey, wait a minute...this snow tastes delicious.

And after a few minutes of licking the snow...

 Mr. Winks decides to contemplate the meaning of life. Quiet moment of deep thought.

 "Hey, this snow is delicious."  I never said he had a long attention span  :  )

 And then came the big blizzard...

 Winds howling….

 And we made our way into the house for the rest of the day.  The end.

Mr Winks 2014

In Maryland we are getting a significant amount of snow, so I decided to take a few pictures of Mr. Winks.  He was less than thrilled.  

But all of a sudden he decided to whip his hair back and forth, OMG, I love taking pictures of this activity.  

  One day, there will be a line of dog hair products, and I only hope that these pictures gain Mr. Winks an audition.

My absolute favorite moment is when mr winks stops shaking, and loses his balance for a few seconds.  So funny.

China Day 8

I love this picture!!!!

 I really have no words to say about the following pictures, except I love pandas  :  )

Over the next few days I will be adding pictures from a Trip that I took in 2010, to China.  Simply to archive them on my blog before I forget where I was when I took these pictures.

China Day 7

Today we took a cruise down the Li river in Guilin.  These are some of my favorite pictures from my trip.

 Here are some other boat going down the river. 

These are the same type of limestone formations that Avitar was based off of.  The location is different though.  The pollution made it so that I could only take pictures of the mountains when we were right next to the the side that I wanted to take a picture of.  Otherwise they would be hazy.  

 As we watched the scenery go by, we saw a lot of water buffalo.  The buffalo only have to work one day a year when they harvest rice for the family that owns it.  For the rest of the year, it meanders.

We also saw a ton of rice paddies.  I loved the landscape, beautiful.

 We stopped on the drive back to the hotel to take some pictures of the rice paddies.  

 I love this house, surrounded by a sea of rice.  

I had to take a few pictures of the people that we saw on our way to and from the boat. 

 These are cormorants, they are used to fish in this area.  The fisherman will tie a string around the bird's neck, and then the bird will swim down into the water to catch the fish.  Once it comes up the fisherman will be able to retrieve the fish.  At the end they will feed the bird the smallest of the fish.

China Day 6

Before I left on the China trip I went to eat at P.F. Changs, which has duplications of the Terra Cotta Warriors.  So this was a sight which I was truly excited to see. 

 This is how large the Terra Cotta Museam is, it has to be larger than a football field.  Amazing. 

 The warriors were all lined up in these long corridors. 

 Magnificent!!!!

 Now this is in the museum to show people how some of the warriors looked when they were discovered.  Imagine the worlds largest puzzle.  I can't believe that they were able to reassemble them. 

 When we went to another portion of the museum, they had some warriors on display that you could see up close.  Also, I was lucky enough to see the warriors get dusted. The situation made me laugh. 

 This is my favorite picture from the site. 

 These puppets were created for the olympics, but they never made it to the event.  Our tour guide told us that it was thought that the warrior looked to foreboding.  Love it.

China Day 5

Today we visited the Great Goose Pagoda in Xi'an.  

 This picture was taken at a different location in the city center.  I love the shadows and vivid reds of the lanterns with the hustle of the city in the background. 

This is the Great Goose Pagoda.  I love how it is muted, and stone colored. 

 I was wandering around the grounds when I saw a buddhist monk walking through the court yard.  The picture was set up for me, all I had to do was record it with my camera. 

 I am sooo glad that we got to visit this pagoda, the grounds were amazing and was a different pace from the trip up until this point.
