We started the day with a walking tour through Derry, the walled city.
Then we made our way to the Ulster American Folk Park.
I had to snap a picture of this, we had a lovely lunch in this building, but I must say that it was rather un-nerving walking through the locked fence, hahahah.
The folk park shows the homes that were used in historic Ireland.
Ummm, I am pretty sure that this would have been me...how ever many years ago.
Yet another set of fluffy animals, my favorite part if my trip...
cute, doe-eyed animals : )
In the historic church, I found the least confidential confession booth ever.
And the trip ended in "America". This trip reminded me of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. I was quite silly in hoping that I would see thatched roof houses as I wandered the irish country side, thankfully I got to see a few in this folk park.
Love Always,
Meg
