I usually like to stick to the whole, don't center anything principle of photography, but I really though that this picture was more moving with the leaf centered. The light breaks up the picture and moves your eye through the picture so I am ok with breaking a rule or two. : )

Good to know the rules and also to feel free to go with really works best with a particular image - even if it totally unconventional. Fresh ideas are wonderful.
