Sunflowers

There is a field of sunflowers in Fallston MD, and I had to go take some pictures.

Sunflowers and lotuses are my favorites flowers.  They both strive to be in the sun.  Lotuses will grow out of murky, muddy water and bloom just above the surface.  Sunflowers mytholgically will move throughout the day to face the sun.

I have never heard about this sunflower field before, but it was huge.

It felt good to go out and take some pictures today, my camera has been in the shop for the last month, but hopefully soon I will get back to taking little day trips.
